TEMOS ABERTURA PARA 3 OFTALMOLOGISTA E 4 OPTOMETRISTAS & ÓPTICOS.

Durante a COVID, muitos países mudaram suas práticas e políticas para cuidados médicos. A Nicarágua fez uma série de mudanças significativas na sua governação, incluindo cuidados médicos. A VOSH Southeast teve um hiato nas clínicas oftalmológicas na Nicarágua durante vários anos devido a novas regulamentações governamentais e expectativas que não podem ser atendidas. Dentro 2022, Nicarágua cancelada 1,000 ONGs que incluem organizações que prestam cuidados médicos. Mais tarde no ano, eles colocaram uma linguagem mais rígida em torno dessas restrições e a Nicarágua não permite mais que nenhuma entidade estrangeira forneça serviços médicos.

Isto tem sido prejudicial para o povo da Nicarágua, que deve depender exclusivamente do governo para obter cuidados, caso não possa pagar cuidados médicos privados.. VOSH Sudeste discutiu este novo mandato com outros capítulos da VOSH, ONGs e prestadores de serviços médicos no país. Todos concordam que esta mudança pretende ser permanente e pode levar muitos anos até que esta política seja alterada. Infelizmente, isso significa que a VOSH Sudeste não poderá sediar clínicas ou cirurgias oftalmológicas na Nicarágua no futuro próximo. Atualizaremos nossos voluntários se as políticas mudarem.

estou procurando 2 optometristas para uma cirurgia ocular e missão Ezam em JALPATAGUA GUATEMALA no domingo 22 para sábado 28 outubro. Estaremos trabalhando em um pequeno hospital católico perto da fronteira com El Salvador. Estamos planejando fazer 150 Cirurgias e 800 Exames oftalmológicos. Atualmente temos 4 Oftalmologistas, 2 Optometristas e 6 Enfermeiras, 5 Ajudantes

VOSH S/E & EYE FOR GOD MINISTRIES – sábado, May 13th completed a fabulous week of Eye Surgery and Eye exams at the Government Clinic in Zone 18 of Guatemala City. The Poorest and most unsafe Zone in the City of 2.1 million Residents.

The Clinic had Screened over 400 People that needed Eye Surgery and did a great job of preparing a space where we could put up our equipment.
3 operating tables and equipment and 3 Phoropter with portable stands and Equipment.

When we arrived at the Clinic the first day we were met with 800 para 1000 people waiting to have their eyes checked.

But by the Grace of God we were able to do 157 Cataract and Pterygium Surgeries and 800 Eye exams. We also gave out over 1200 par de óculos.
o 4 Oftalmologistas, 7 Nurse / Helpers and 4 Optometristas e 4 Helpers worked 12 hour days to try to help as many people as possible.
We were also able to Present the Gospel to over 500 pessoas.
