I am looking for 2 optometrists for a Eye Surgery and Ezam Mission to JALPATAGUA GUATEMALA Sunday 22 to Saturday 28 October. We will be working in a small Catholic Hospital near the El Salvador border. We are planning on doing 150 Operații și 800 Examene oftalmologice. At present we have 4 Oftalmologi, 2 Optometrists and 6 Asistentele, 5 Ajutoare

VOSH S/E & EYE FOR GOD MINISTRIES – sâmbătă, May 13th completed a fabulous week of Eye Surgery and Eye exams at the Government Clinic in Zone 18 of Guatemala City. The Poorest and most unsafe Zone in the City of 2.1 million Residents.

The Clinic had Screened over 400 People that needed Eye Surgery and did a great job of preparing a space where we could put up our equipment.
3 operating tables and equipment and 3 Phoropter with portable stands and Equipment.

When we arrived at the Clinic the first day we were met with 800 la 1000 people waiting to have their eyes checked.

But by the Grace of God we were able to do 157 Cataract and Pterygium Surgeries and 800 Eye exams. We also gave out over 1200 pair of glasses.
The 4 Oftalmologi, 7 Nurse / Helpers and 4 Optometrists and 4 Helpers worked 12 hour days to try to help as many people as possible.
We were also able to Present the Gospel to over 500 oameni.
